How I Work

Some of us are fortunate enough to have an abundance of money suddenly flow into our lives.  Money can bring great joy, but it also comes with huge responsibilities.

Regardless of the circumstances of your newfound wealth, making the transition from one lifestyle to another can be challenging.  Because of the urgent nature of Sudden Wealth, I only work with one client at a time, providing the highest level of service.  We’ll jump into the fire together, first assessing what needs to be done, prioritizing each task and then taking them on one at a time.

Maria came to me two years after she had won $ 1 million dollars.  Over the two year period, she had quit her job, paid cash for a home and gambled away the rest of the money.  Although she was forced to sell the house, she was reluctant to sell it for less than she had paid for it, even though the real estate market had dropped significantly.  There was really nothing I could do for her at that point.  Had she come to me when she first won the money, we could have done some budgeting, forecasting and planning.  We could also have been talking about job re-training, setting her up for a new career.”

With sudden wealth, time is critical.  If possible, contact me before you collect the money or as soon as possible after you’ve received it.

In most cases, I’ll ask for a three-month commitment where you and I will spend a minimum of two hours per week working through our action plan.   I’ll be there each step of the way, helping you through the implementation of each action item.  I’ll hold your hand through every meeting with financial professionals and guide you through each decision that needs to be made.

Think of me as your Personal Financial Quarterback, a trusted ally who does not have a vested interest in how your spend or invest your money, but at the same time is committed to your financial success and prosperity.
