How I Work

The Book Study Group explores Maria Nemeth’s books, Mastering Life’s Energies and The Energy of Money.

Women who have participated in the Book Study Group find that they are inspired by others’ progress, giving them the courage to step out of their comfort zone and really examine their relationship with money in a way that they never have before.

Book Study Groups can be formed in two ways.

- You can sign up based on the current schedule.  The class is held over the telephone or in person, with a minimum three and maximum of five participants.

- If you have a group of friends (or book club members) who would like to improve their relationship with money and who are committed to moving forward, I can customize the meeting time and location. Please contact me for more information.

Book Study Groups begin with Mastering Life’s Energies.  Over six-weeks, we’ll meet once a week for two hours, either by telephone or in person.  Don’t worry, the reading is very do-able.  At the end of this six-week period, the group then re-commits to another 6-week session to study The Energy of Money.  The book presents twelve principles and numerous exercises that help you get in touch with and confront what holds you back in your relationship with money.

I wanted to write and thank you for all your work and time with our group while we studied Mastering Life’s Energies. I found the work very valuable and believe the group setting increased the insights I gained. I am eager to move into The Energy of Money with you and the others, but wanted to take a minute to acknowledge your facilitation skills and open, actionable compassion during our first work together.“  Emily P.

Book Study Group clients say that this program has helped to them create new life and financial goals and to finally begin to really focus their money energy in ways they’ve never thought possible. Maria’s books contain extremely powerful tools that can be expanded and applied to your life situation and working through them in a group rather than individually makes the difference between success and failure.

The open workshop format encouraged sharing of money attitudes (both healthy and not-so), and the focus on bringing ease and grace into our lives was refreshing. Each of us had some “struggle” that others could relate to, even if they didn’t experience that same one.  The vibe of the workshop was that of learning to apply mindfulness (to money and life!), and in doing so, we all benefited more.  Like being greater than the sum of the parts!  Thank you again!“  Linda B.

After completing the two books, clients have the option to either continue with Individual Coaching or form a Coaching Group where we begin to apply the principles they’ve learned to their daily lives. In these coaching sessions, clients hone their skills by taking small steps to first clean up their money concerns and then by designing an action plan towards new life goals that really excite them.

Brenda is a realtor who came to the group because her income was down due to the stall in the real estate market, and she was feeling stressed about money. She talked about her credit card debt and estimated it to be around $40,000, but presented it as ‘not really a problem.’   When she really looked at the debt, writing down each card balance and totaling it up, she saw that it was actually $75,000.  By doing the exercises and through individual coaching, she was able to see the drain that the debt was on her money energy.  The following year, even though she had the worst year she had ever had in real estate; she reigned in her spending and reduced her credit card debt by $20,000.  Focusing her money energy on eliminating the debt brought her a great sense of accomplishment and got her moving in the right direction.

Our next workshop is starting soon. I’d love for you to be a part of it. To find out more information, please send me an email for more information.
